Steph Curry to miss time after 'encouraging' MRI

"But he's not going to play (Saturday)".

Steph suffered the injury in Thursday night's loss to the surprising Milwaukee Bucks, when he tried to thwart Eric Bledsoe movement towards the basket. It's kind of a - something that we're going to evaluate over the next few days. The sharpshooter left the game in the third quarter with a groin injury and did not return. However, Kerr did rule Curry out of Saturday's game against the Brooklyn Nets.

According to Kerr, the two-time league MVP had an "encouraging" MRI. "He's going to be out until he's healthy and ready to go".

Curry's injury came just when Draymond Green sat out due to a sprained right toe and foot while fellow All-Star DeMarcus Cousins has also yet to see action due to a left Achilles injury.

Quinn Cook will start for the Warriors in place of Curry.

The Warriors have games against the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday and Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday. Once you get that tweak on the inside of your thigh and the lateral movement becomes hard.

"As a team we played really hard". Even the great ones have games where they can't hit a shot, and Thursday night just happened to be that type of game for the Warriors point guard. Kerr is confident that both players will be back on the floor soon. He's feeling a lot better, but he's hardly done anything basketball-wise.
