Latest Brain injuries broken bones in Arkansas bus crash

Authorities say the driver of the bus carrying an all star youth football team lost control causing it to roll of Interstate 30 early Monday morning.

Arkansas State Police said the wreck happened along Interstate 30 near Benton, about 25 miles (40 kilometers) southwest of Little Rock. Police said most of the injured were children and that they were taken to hospitals in Little Rock and Benton. The injured have been transported to area hospitals in Little Rock and Benton.

State police said the bus overturned after driving off the interstate. By the time first responders arrived numerous players -who were between the ages of eight and 13 years old - and their chaperones were already off the bus, state police spokesman Bill Sadler stated.

Police say the bus was carrying a football team that had played in a championship game in Dallas over the weekend.
