At time of publication, the video has a staggering 2.2 million dislikes-more than double the 1 million likes it's garnered.

YouTube Rewind 2018 is a mashup of the year's most viral YouTube video, and can be viewed on a web or mobile browser, as well as on the YouTube mobile app.

The video is 8:13 minutes long, and was released December 6, 2018. "'Cause 2018 YouTube REWIND will surpass it in the next 12 hours!"

The Verge even criticized the YouTube Rewind 2018, saying that YouTube chose to spotlight certain stars and to ignore others in an effort to "appease advertisers".

YouTube Rewind 2018 is upon us and once again people are not happy. Smith joining the platform probably the only real moment from 2018 worth talking about... But the video was also appreciated for highlighting the animators on YouTube.
