"Watching them is sort of like watching porn", Parton said.

"It doesn't hurt to have some separation", the country songstress exclusively told Us Weekly at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Friday. Actually, this whole weekend has been an exciting thing for me ...

"After all these years I'm still at, and people act like I'm still important", said Parton with her typical humility on the red carpet ahead of the 2019 Grammy Awards on Sunday night, this year held in Los Angeles. "No one I think deserves to be honored tonight more than Dolly, not just because of her talent, but because of every bit of giving that she does and that's what MusiCares is about".

Parton and Dean tied the knot in May 1966, about two years after meeting for the first time in Nashville.

Parton was the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement award from the Recording Academy in 2011. This year's ceremony is on Sunday.
