Ramsey's current Arsenal deal will expire at the end of the season and contract talks between the two parties broke down in the latter stages of 2018 as the Gunners were unprepared to meet the midfielder's demands.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey signs a pre-contract with Juventus which will earn the Wales worldwide over £400,000 a week, according to a report.

Ramsey will reportedly be second on the club's payroll behind Cristiano Ronaldo, who takes home an estimated $5.3 million per month before tax.

He has signed a four-year deal with Juve, having passed a medical in January, and will join the club at the end of this season on a free transfer after 11 years at Arsenal.

The Welshman had been linked with several clubs including Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea.

Welsh global Ramsey has already passed a January medical at Juve, and will link up with Massimiliano Allegri's team over the summer.

Ramsey, 28, issued his own statement via Instagram.

"I will continue to give the team 100 per cent and hope to finish the season strongly, before heading on to my next chapter in Turin".

Ramsey turned down the offer of a new deal at Arsenal earlier this season. "He has always been a consummate professional and will always have a special place in the hearts and memories of Arsenal fans around the world".
