It seems, by releasing the letter, Thomas Markle has not internalised his daughter's pleas.

The letter also detailed how Meghan and Harry tried to reach out to her father during the week of her wedding, with Meghan claiming that she only learnt of Thomas' heart-attack through the press.

The letter shows how Meghan, 37, begged him to stop his "painful" attacks on her "kind and patient" husband.

Following an anonymous interview with five of Meghan's BFFs in People Magazine, where they set straight a lot of stories, it has been revealed that Meghan wrote her dad a touching 5-Page letter after he skipped her wedding.

In the handwritten note, Meghan is said to have accused Thomas Markle of "unwarranted pain" and "making the choice to not tell the truth".

Meghan also addressed her relationship with half-sister Samantha Markle: "I pleaded with you to stop reading the tabloids. This you know. No texts, no missed calls, no outreach from you - just more global interviews you're being paid to do to say harmful and hurtful things that are untrue".

"If you love me, as you tell the press you do, please stop", she added, asking her father to stop appearing on TV and talking to journalists. "I came by there one day, and she had ordered an incredible ice-cream and sorbet stand for the office", the insider revealed.

Thomas Markle has shared a letter that he claims was written to him by his daughter, Meghan Markle. Please allow us to live our lives in peace.

"You've told the press that you called me to say you weren't coming to the wedding - that didn't happen because you never called". He later stated that he would not be attending and Meghan was walked down the aisle by Prince Harry's father, Prince Charles.

"I have only ever loved, protected, and defended you, offering whatever financial support I could, worrying about your health".

"You watched me silently suffer at the hands of your vicious lies".

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Mr Markle said that the letter wasn't the "olive branch" that he had hoped for.

Kensington Palace has not yet commented on the authenticity of the letter.

It is being reported that there was plenty of chatter about the unborn royal baby during the evening, with Prince Harry also overheard telling one invitee, "there's a heavy baby in her!"

It's pretty damn heartbreaking to read a letter from a woman begging her father to stop exploiting her for fame and money.
