Last week, Dave Cameron, CWI's president, described the Holder sanction as a "crippling decision" that threatened to overshadow West Indies' series victory, and called on the ICC to modify the rule. The decision has been taken after regular captain Jason Holder was given a one-match suspension for a second minor over-rate offence in the 2nd Test in Antigua.

Cameron noted that the WINDIES team is still well equipped and motivated to emerge victorious at the Daren Sammy Stadium when the 3 and final Test match bowls off in St. Lucia on Saturday, February 9.

The player of the match in Antigua though was Kemar Roach, who grabbed four wickets in each innings.

Trevor Bayliss, the England coach, bemoaned earlier this week the lack of pressure being put on the Test team by players in county cricket, and there will be batting spots available for the summer, which starts with a four-day Test match against Ireland. Victory gave West Indies their first Test series win over England since 2009.

In the rankings for batsmen, Usman Khawaja has gained three slots to reach 13th position after an unbeaten 101 in the second innings while his teammate Travis Head has gained a whopping 23 slots to reach a career-best 20th position after scores of 161 and 59 not out. The other Test venue for that series is likely to be Trinidad. Australia though have gained three points after winning the two Tests against Sri Lanka.

Denly, handed the most hard of debuts aged 32 in the Antiguan horror show, looks certain to open again in the final Test in St Lucia, where England will attempt to salvage some of the pride they have lost in the Caribbean. They can be banned for two years if they receive 10.
