Joe Russo who earlier helmed Marvel movies such as films Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and now, Avengers: Endgame has selected India as his first destination as a part of their Avengers: Endgame promotion tour in the Asia Pacific region.

Joe Russo will be in Mumbai in the month of April. Enter: Cherry, a true-life adaptation of author Nico Walker's semi-autobiographical novel of the same name.

Cherry's plot revolves around Walker's own life, where he dropped out of college, served as an Army medic in Iraq, returned home after receiving several medals and commendations, suffered from severe PTSD and became addicted to opioids.

Walker was caught and convicted in 2011 and is now in jail.

Joe, the one half of famous director duo The Russo Brothers, will be engaging with eager Marvel fans from India on April 1 and 2.

The film might be a change of direction for them, but it seems there associations with the Marvel work remain strong as Variety is reporting that Spider-Man himself, Tom Holland, will be joining the pair to play the lead role in the movie.
