Apple says ‘it’s show time’ March 25

"Last year, Apple unveiled the 2018 9.7" iPad with Apple Pencil support, as well as various new apps suitable for teachers, students, and related educational activities. In fact, we can think of several good reasons why you'd want to buy an entry-level 9.7-incher (especially at a nice discount), a hot new 11 or 12.9-inch Pro variant, or even a slightly older 10.5 or 12.9-incher.

As we inch closer to the expected March 25 reveal of Apple's new video streaming service, one of the biggest questions that's remained open is exactly how the new service will be shaping up and what we can expect to see as part of the initial launch. Apple's Tim Cook had noted that services will be crucial for the company, as iPhone sales slow and hardware innovation makes the once-annual upgrade less of a draw.

Presumably, the shows Apple has already released on Apple Music, such as Carpool Karaoke and Planet of the Apps, will be on the streaming service, but that isn't clear.

According to a new report, four Apple suppliers are gearing up for mass production of both new products.

The TV service is expected to launch globally, an ambitious move to rival services from Netflix Inc and Amazon.com Inc.'s Prime Video.

Typically, the invite for the March event, which will be held at the Steve Jobs Theater, doesn't concretely give anything away, but the "show time" tagline is certainly a hint towards a TV/movie service. So far, Apple has stopped itself from deprecating the existing AirPods hardware in favor of a revamped version of the popular earbuds but it looks as though that run could come to an end. It seems like this will be relaunched as part of the News subscription, similar to how Beats Music was the basis for Apple Music.
