It runs on Windows 10 Pro operating system.

Acer's done it again with the Predator Helios 700.

The Acer Predator Helios 700, even though being marketed as a gaming "laptop" is more along the lines of a portable desktop.

It's not shy when it comes to internal specs either, with a similar setup to Acer's new Predator gaming notebooks. Both laptops take advantage of the all new 9th Gen Intel Core processors for the ultimate mobile gaming performance.

As the name suggests, the Acer ConceptD is a concept all-in-one desktop, designed for professionals.

In a brief hands-on with the Helios 700, the sliding keyboard is a good compromise between those who like the keyboard in its normal place at the back of the base of the computer and those who like the front-loaded style that Acer has been pushing on many of its gaming laptops. The notebook uses either an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 or 2070 depending on your configuration, and has CPU options that top out at a ninth-gen Intel Core i9.

As the Acer Predator Helios 700 is not an affordable option, the company has unveiled the Acer Nitro 5 and the Acer Nitro 7 gaming laptop series with 15.6 and a 17.6-inch display, offering up to 144Hz refresh rate. Five speakers and a subwoofer keep the games immersive and engaging with full and realistic audio.

How Much is the Acer Helios 700 Laptop? The sliding mechanism is completely manual, and you can easily pull the keyboard deck down by just putting a bit of pressure on the palm rest and dragging it down. It provides desktop comfort in a notebook form factor.

The keyboard itself also happens to be a new invention from Acer called "MagForce", which might make it seem like it's the brand's first magnetically-driven keyboard, but it actually uses analog-like linear switches. A Precision Touchpad is outlined with blue lighting and features two discrete mouse buttons below the pad for easy clicking. The accompanying PredatorSense hotkey, on the other hand, will allow you to view CPU and GPU temperatures and adjust fan speed on the fly, which sounds like a nice touch.

The Predator gaming monitor also has AdaptiveSync feature that adapts to the frame rate of the outputting device.

The best-selling Predator Helios 300 gaming notebook just got better with the addition of powerful technologies and features, along with a new sophisticated design. Inside, it packed Intel's ninth-gen Core i7 processors, an optional 144Hz display, an RTX 2070 Max-Q GPU, up to 32GB of DDR4 2666MHzmemory, and up to two PCIe NVMeSSDs.

But most noticeable is the notebook's new look. These notebooks are powered by the 8th Gen Coffee Lake Intel processors with full-sized keyboard, including a dedicated numeric pad. A narrow bezel around the display and a redesigned keyboard with contemporary looking Predator fonts give it a hip and edgy look.
