Jovic's Frankfurt side may have been on the losing end of that game, but the 21-year-old's fine goalscoring form continued.

We have seen with the way Wolves have played against the top six this season that they have the ability to compete with the top sides in the division and it would not be a surprise to see them playing Champions League football in a few seasons.

He has already played his part in names like Joao Moutinho, Ruben Neves and Rui Patricio joining Nuno Espirito Santo's side and there is a huge Portuguese contingent at Molineux, as they target European football this season.

"Luka has enquiries. The ones from Barcelona are there", he said.

Frankfurt are poised to sign him up permanently for a dirt-cheap fee of €7 million in the summer but Jovic has been the subject of interest from a whole host of leading European giants such as Barcelona, Manchester United and Manchester City.

Yet Jovic's father told Bild that his son has always been grounded and turned down offers from Borussia Dortmund, Schalke and Arsenal as a boy.
