WWE: Popular wrestler Sasha Banks is planning to quit the company? Read on to know more

Sasha would certainly be making a statement quitting the company so soon after the biggest show of the year, but she wouldn't be the first.

Earlier in the week Banks pulled out of an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show due to personal reasons, and we can now safely assume that it's due to her position within the company.

Sasha Banks, WWE wrestler, is now apparently not happy with how her career is shaping in WWE.

The Wrestling Observer reports that Banks wanted to leave the WWE during WrestleMania 35 weekend, after plans for her and Bayley's Women's Tag Team title run were changed.

With the storyline being that the titles were to be defended on Raw, SmackDown and in NXT, Banks thought that the two of them would be given a strong run to establish the titles as serious belts. However, Banks and Bayley were told they would drop them to The IIconics at WrestleMania 35 in a fatal fourway along with Nia Jax and Tamina, and Natalya and Beth Phoenix.

Meanwhile, WWE officials reportedly asked Sasha Banks not to quit and gave her a few weeks to reconsider her decision. However, sources in the company don't believe she'll be granted her release.

Not only this but Banks also unfollowed WWE on Twitter and began following All Elite Wrestling - although this seems like a slight grab for attention rather than advertising her services.

"There is something about the way life happens today that makes it hard to look ahead. I know so many people when it comes to the championships it's like 'oh it's a prop and you take it too seriously, ' but that's why it works". "Your crisis of goal and passion is acting up, but they tell you that that's suppose [sic] to be normal".

"I want that feeling of coming home again".
