The Wizards Cut Ties With A Player Arrested For Fighting An Eagles Player Outside A Club

The fight happened around 3:00 a.m. near the Opera Ultra Louge, which is located in Northwest Washington D.C. Robinson was taken to the hospital for treatment but ended up getting detained at the same police station Mills was taken to.

Following the news of his arrest, the Wizards quickly issued a statement that said, in part, Robinson wouldn't be back with the team this fall.

Washington Wizards' 2-way player Devin Robinson was arrested after a fight outside a nightclub with a Philadelphia Eagles player. "No further comment will be provided at this time".

Mills started eight games for the Eagles last season before going on injured reserve in December after hurting a foot.

"We are aware of the incident this morning involving Devin and are disappointed in his actions", the Wizards said.

Philadelphia 76ers' Furkan Korkmaz, center, passes around Washington Wizards' Thomas Bryant, left, and Devin Robinson during the first half of an NBA Summer League basketball game Monday, July 9, 2018, in Las Vegas. Jeff McLane of the Phila Inquirer reported that Mills paid a $35 fine and hasn't had a court date set yet. He is penciled in as a starter for Jim Schwartz's defense at left cornerback opposite Ronald Darby but is not ready for spring work and third-year corner Sidney Jones is expected to push for playing time. He was selected in the seventh round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Those charges were ultimately reduced to a misdemeanor before being dropped once Mills completed a pretrial diversion program.
