Windows 10 free-to-play racing game Miami Street gets rebranded as Forza Street, coming soon to iOS and Android

Forza Street has been created to let players experience Forza in a smaller, compact version. The game is the latest installment in the racing franchise, and it is arriving first for Windows 10 PCs. A product by Microsoft, this is a spinoff of the Forza Motorsport series and is free-to-play on Microsoft Store for Windows 10.

The game, which was previously announced with the working title Miami Street, takes place in the city of Miami. And while the free-to-play approach is something new in the Forza game series, the product in itself isn't entirely new.

"Forza Street is an all-new Forza experience created to be played anytime, anywhere, and excite anyone who loves cars", Forza Design Director Andy Beaudoin announced.

Unlike previous Forza titles, Forza Street does not require you to steer your vehicle to victory. Racers will have to focus their efforts on hitting the gas and brake pedals and timing their boosts to win races. "Whether players want to squeeze in a quick one-minute race or get immersed in a story campaign, every race is a chance to earn a performance icon from an ever-growing list of incredible cars, turning your garage into a trophy case".

Turn 10 is keen to engage with the community for suggestions and feedback and plan to add new features with future updates. According to the store listing, you'll need 3.85 GB of storage, 4GB of RAM and a DirectX11-enabled GPU to play it on your PC.
