Senator Bernie Sanders has written a scathing letter to the board of the Center for American Progress accusing it of being a "destructive" force in the "critical mission to defeat Donald Trump". "Please do the same".

He made no apologies for his financial well-being, telling the New York Times recently that "if you write a best-selling book, you can be a millionaire, too".
