"This was really a wake-up call and it was me trying to reach someone who I found completely unreachable and I had been trying to deliver the same message so many times because this wasn't just about one thing". The beauty blogger wanted to remind her followers that she "doesn't hate" Charles and there is "no celebration in what's happening". "Um, I'm sorry for everything that is going on, for everything that I put you through over the past few weeks", he says, addressing Westbrook and her husband.

For more on the fallout between Westbrook and Charles, watch below.

"This has all gotten really, really insane", Westbrook said after detailing how if she had wanted to take Charles down she would have gone to studios and talked more.

Westbrook has gained about 4 million subscribers since the original video came out, while Charles has lost millions, according to Social Blade.

"If I could give all the new success back and the new subscribers back, I would", she said."That's not why I did this".

"I don't think [Charles'] career is over, I don't think he is canceled", Westbrook said. I've never really gone in depth with that.

Charles has lost three million subscribers to his YouTube channel since Westbrook's "Bye Sister" video, including stars like Kylie Jenner and Shawn Mendes.

One, a 19-year-old, fame-hungry Instagrammer who would stop at nothing to grow the personal beauty brand thathad skyrocketed him from his high-school bedroom in Bethlehem, N.Y., to the red carpets of the Met Gala.

"When I made that video, I thought that I would be the one to take the hit". I don't want you guys hating on him ... I want the picking sides and the abusive memes and the language, and all of that ...

Charles has since posted an emotional apology to his YouTube channel, titled "tati".

"Dude, this all seems so fucking petty to me", he said. "I am so disappointed in myself that I ruined a relationship that did mean so much to me". When James replied simply "lmao you're hot", Jay clarified "I'm straight as could be".

"I just need to be off of social media right now because it's a really dark place for me right now", Westbrook said. "I've been involved with a lot of unique and odd situations that have left people confused or upset". "And I've learned the hard way about ways that I can interact with people that I'm interested in, and also ones that I should or shouldn't be talking to".

He added that it's a topic he should have been "far more careful with".

In case you missed it, major drama first erupted between the beauty professionals last Friday, when Westbrook released a lengthy video called "Bye Sister" - which has been viewed 46.8 million times - cutting ties with her former protégé.

"I'm not back", she warned subscribers at the beginning of the video.

"I'm not back, I needed to hop on, answer some questions", Westbrook explains.
