The New York Post front page cover features the headline "De Blasio Runs for President" with people laughing while watching television. "It's about working people, and in the end, people should trust somebody who's already done it". "It's just in the wrong hands", de Blasio said at the start of the clip. De Blasio's administration has also implemented police reforms, paid sick leave, increases in the minimum wage and new identification cards that allow illegal immigrants to access city services.

Have a great weekend.

PBA President Patrick Lynch's full statement is absolutely devastating for de Blasio, who is notoriously hostile to law enforcement.

When de Blasio was interviewed on Good Morning America after announcing his presidential bid, he was met by protestors with signs reading "Liar". The mayor is touting his progressive beliefs and experience running the nation's largest city.

Even before he announced his presidential bid, some of de Blasio's closest allies warned him against a 2020 run calling it "f--ing insane", per Politico. "New York City Police officers are continuing to suffer with wages 30% below market rate because the mayor has totally checked out of our contact process".

De Blasio, who has taken repeated shots at Trump before, launched another salvo in his campaign announcement video, where he called Trump a "bully". We know his tricks. During his tenure as mayor, de Blasio been openly hostile to law enforcement. "I look forward to fighting him head on. It's been a lie from day one".

Earlier this week, the mayor held a news conference inside Trump Tower in Manhattan, where he touted new legislation requiring high-rise buildings to cut emissions and threatened that the Trump Organization would face fines if it does not ameliorate its properties. "He is a JOKE, but if you like high taxes & crime, he's your man. NYC HATES HIM!" In second, at least according to most polls, is Sen.
