That's not to say they never spend the night together, though.

Gwyneth Paltrow may have coined yet another new concept with a recent revelation to the Sunday Times, via Today: She and husband Brad Falchuk, whom she married in September, don't always live together.

It shouldn't be surprising that the woman whose first marriage ended by bringing the phrase "conscious uncoupling" into the lexicon would enjoy some downright unconventional living arrangements with her second husband.

She claims her intimacy teacher, Micaela Boehm, approves of the odd living arrangement for a married couple as well.

The Goop founder also spoke about the "family honeymoon" they took to the Maldives at Christmas, during which they were accompanied by all their children, and Gwyneth's ex-husband Chris Martin and his partner Dakota Johnson.

"It was a very modern honeymoon", Gwyneth said of the trip.

"Chris is family and Brad and he, they're like, totally friends", Paltrow told the Times. The 46-year-old is loving being in her 40s, despite what everyone else told her.

While Paltrow's set-up may not work for everyone, it's clearly working for her.

Paltrow announced her engagement to Falchuk in Goop magazine's January 2018 issue, in which she described him as the "man I was meant to be with".

"I guess the only regret is that I had to turn 40 to start getting my head out of my a-", she said. "And yet, these last six years have been the most profoundly awakening years of my life".
