Secret of Mana Collection Finally Coming West; Out Later Today - News

While the remake is coming to PC, it looks like we can't say the same for the original.

The Trials of Mana remake will launch in early 2020 for Switch, Nintendo revealed Tuesday during its E3 Direct. The Collection of Mana pack for Nintendo Switch is available now digitally on the Nintendo eShop, and releasing physically on August 27.

Check out the remake's trailer above. The previous Secret of Mana remake commanded a just-shy-of-full-retail price at $39.99 / £29.99 / €39.99, so you can probably expect something similar here. Players can customise their own party of three, selected from six unique characters, to experience different stories. There have been plenty of Arcade Archives that have released since the Switch's launch, and a number of NES games, but no Game Boy.

Seiken Densetsu 3 (SFC) - which has never been officially localized until now as Trials of Mana.

It's been 24 years since Seiken Densetsu 3, the critically acclaimed sequel to Secret of Mana, graced Super Famicom systems. This includes Final Fantasy Adventure, Secret of Mana, and the original Seiken Densetsu 3, relabeled Trials of Mana for Western audiences. The two games before it, Seiken Densetsu 1 and 2, came to the United States as Final Fantasy Adventure and Secret of Mana, respectively.
