After several speculations and leaks, Xiaomi has finally put an end to all the rumours around its latest Xiaomi Mi Band 4. That pretty much sums up all the new features in Xiaomi's latest fitness band. NFC has also made the cut on the more expensive versions, giving access to digital payments, public transport cards, and easier phone pairing. The Avengers variant of the Mi Band 4 will retail for 349 RMB ($50), and sales are set to kick off from June 16. These voice commands to the onboard Xiao smart assistant can be used to control a variety of smart products in Xiaomi's IoT ecosystem - including Xiaomi's robot cleaner, smart air conditioner, or connected table lamp. There's also 5ATM rating (50 meter) for water resistance which was previously on the Mi Band 3 as well. The new model supports touch inputs as well as comes with a built-in microphone to enable voice commands.

The Mi Band 4 is available in six color options and is just available in China.

The Mi Band 4 also comes with a newer 6-axis high precision sensor for more complex motion recognition.

The first major highlight of the Mi Band 4 is the 0.95-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 240×120. The users need to swipe the screen to show to QR code on their Mi Band 4 to make payments on-the-go. As mentioned earlier, the device is equipped with a six-axis accelerometer, which is said to monitor physical activities like running, cycling, exercise, swimming, and walking.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 4 price in China has been set at CNY 169 (roughly Rs. 1,700) for the standard edition, while its NFC variant is priced at CNY 229 (roughly Rs. 2,300). And Xiaomi is adding the ability to identify swimming strokes - freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly, and mixed-style - and it is able to track your swimming activity in real-time. A lot of users of Mi Band 3 had expected for a better display and improved battery life, which Xiaomi has done in the Mi Band 4. The company claims that it can last up to 20 days with a single charge.
