Among those in attendance was former Patriots character coach Jack Easterby, who left the team this offseason to take a high-ranking position in Houston.

The New England Patriots and their key members have been accused of a lot of different things over the years, ranging from cheating to outright criminal behavior.

Caserio has been New England's director of player personnel since 2008. Caserio was there as well. He has not accepted the job with the Texans as of writing.

Schefter's tweet was short on details, but he noted that an National Football League investigation will follow. According to Schefter, the league is expected to open an investigation into Houston shortly. This is the second time the Texans are attempting to bring Caserio for an interview after he was in their shortlist of candidates for their general manager position in 2018.
