Logano led 163 of the 203 laps of the race, which was moved back a day after being rained out Sunday.

Logano won his second NASCAR Cup Series race of the season, holding off Kurt Busch and Martin Truex overtime Monday at Michigan International Speedway. "T.J. Majors, my spotter, spotted his butt off up there", said Logano, who has won three races at Michigan Int'l Speedway from the pole during his career.

After Kurt Busch, Truex settled for third followed by Daniel Suarez and Kyle Busch. Six laps later, Logano took back the lead yet again. The top-five result was Suarez's second of the season and kept him 13th in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series standings, solidly in contention for a playoff spot.

Logano, the reigning Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion, was in control of the Firekeepers Casino 400 from the moment the green flag waved.
