The UK Will Introduce New Immigration Rules

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced an initiative to change the UK's immigration rules aimed at attracting the "smartest and best" after Brexit, according to BNR.

"We wish we could have moved further along in this with the prior government" Bolton said of a potential trade deal. He signed an executive order in May banning USA companies from using Huawei equipment and later lifted the ban after meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, agreeing to a trade ceasefire at the G-20 summit.

"They discussed global economic issues and trade, and the prime minister updated the president on Brexit", said a spokeswoman from Johnson's office.

"At this stage, there is a lot of uncertainty about the sufficiency of enforcement in a no-deal because we have 12 vessels that need to monitor a space three times the size of the surface area of the United Kingdom".

The meeting came with Trump's administration pursuing a "maximum pressure" campaign created to force Iran to limit nuclear and military activities.

Mr Puissesseau admitted that a no-deal Brexit in March would have been a "huge problem", but said they had now had an extra seven months to prepare. A report in the Times this morning, citing a "leaked strategy document", indicate that MPs are drawing up plans to force PM Boris Johnson to give up his hardcore stance to leave the European Union on October 31st come what may. Johnson and his supporters call the existing agreement unfair.

Trump had wanted to work with the May government on a trade deal but her government "didn't want do it". Trump looks forward to meeting with Johnson "in the near future", the White House said in a brief statement.

But a clean break with the European Union would allow the UK to immediately launch negotiations on a free trade agreement with the United States.

Britain and its European allies have irritated Trump's team by trying to save a landmark nuclear agreement with Iran which Washington pulled out of a year ago.

The UK has committed to joining Operation Sentinel, the mission to protect maritime security in the Persian Gulf.

It marked a departure in policy for Johnson following May's attempts to form a European-led group.

The United States would enthusiastically support a no-deal Brexit if that is what the British government made a decision to do, U.S. national security adviser John Bolton said on Monday during a visit to London aimed at reassuring Britain over UK-U.S. ties.

Meanwhile, former secretary of state for environment, food, and rural affairs, Michael Gove, has said there will be a government support fund to help British businesses in the event of a no-deal Brexit.
