Ceballos scored his first goal for Arsenal against Standard Liege in the Europa League last week.

New Arsenal favourite Dani Ceballos insists he made the right move in leaving Real Madrid.

He also leads the Arsenal side in assists with two.

The Gunners loaned in the talented young Spaniard in the summer transfer window and he has been a revelation since signing.

On the question of whether he will return to Real Madrid if Zidane continues, Ceballos said: "They are hypotheses. He was winning three Champions Leagues and I cannot tell you what will happen".

"I don't feel sorry for not being there [Madrid]".

"Right now I'm where I want to be, and I am very happy".

"I know what I have in my head and that was to play and enjoy".

It would appear likely that Bale wants to leave having resolved to go to China, where he would have doubled his salary in a three-year deal, knowing he was not wanted by Zidane. I am not going to think about what is going to happen after the Euro's, if I'm going to stay at Madrid or not.

Meanwhile, Ceballos is happy to team up again with former Real colleague Sergio Ramos in training with the national side.

James' future was equally unclear after he returned from a two-year loan spell at Bayern Munich, but rumoured interest from Napoli and Atletico Madrid failed to materialise.

Ceballos has fought his way back into Spain's senior national team where he's forming a partnership with Barcelona's Sergio Busquets in central midfield, playing together most recently in a 2-1 win over Romania. In spite of having a lot of experience, he still shows the ambition of a youngster, the ambition makes him different from the others.
