Oppo's new smartphone, the Reno Ace, has a simple claim to fame: it charges from 0-100 percent battery in 30 minutes. This phone gets energised by Octa Core Snapdragon 730G processor with Adreno 618 GPU and is combined with 6GB LPPDDR4x RAM with storage options of 128GB or 8GB LPPDDR4x RAM with 128/256Gb of storage.

It features a 6.5 inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate as well as a 16MP selfie camera housed in a waterdrop notch.

On the back, the Oppo K5 sports a 64-megapixel quad camera setup.

"At OPPO, we continuously look at new ways we can enhance our camera and video capabilities, to keep pace with the changing demands of the digital world and provide our customers with the features they demand". This brings us to a brand new phone that costs around $420 and needs only half an hour to recharge its 4,000 mAh battery. The setup is similar to the one on Oppo Reno 2. Oppo reno ace price starts at 3,199 yuan for 8 GB RAM/128 GB storage, 3,399 yuan for 8 GB RAM/256 GB storage and 3,799 for 12 GB RAM/256 GB storage, so each model is available around the range of 500$. Other cameras include an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel 4cm macro lens.

Oppo does sell its smartphones internationally and may decide to give the Ace a wider release in the future. The K5 is the latest mid-range smartphone in Oppo's K-series and is expected to launch in India later this year. For connectivity, it has dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, and Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C, and NFC.

Oppo K5 has an In-display fingerprint sensor. The Oppo Renno Ace will go on its first sale starting October 16 through various online retailers in the country.

OPPO's Reno Ace 40th Anniversary Edition uses Gundam's original classic colors such as red, white and blue, which is also a long-lasting trendy color scheme, according to OPPO.
